Troubleshooting of 4-in-1 Multi-Gas Detectors

The four in one gas detector is a flexible single gas or multiple gas detector that can be equipped with oxygen sensors, combustible gas sensors, and toxic gas sensors, or optional four gas sensors or optional single gas sensors. The four in one gas detector has a very clear large LCD display screen, backlight illumination, sound and light vibration alarm prompts, ensuring that dangerous gases can be detected even in very unfavorable working environments and prompt operators to take preventive measures in a timely manner.

The principle of the detection part of the four in one gas detector is that when the concentration of the combustible gas being measured exceeds the limit value, the amplified bridge circuit outputs a voltage and the circuit detection set voltage. Through the voltage comparator, the square wave generator outputs a set of square wave signals to control the sound, light detection circuit, buzzer to produce continuous sound, and the light-emitting diode flashes to emit a detection signal. From the principle of the four in one gas detector, it can be seen that if electromagnetic interference occurs, it will affect the detection signal and cause data deviation; If there is a collision or vibration that causes the equipment to break, the detection will fail; If the environment is excessively humid or the equipment is flooded, it may also cause a short circuit in the four in one gas detector or a change in the resistance value of the circuit, resulting in detection failure.
Formaldehyde is a colorless and easily soluble irritant gas. Artificial boards such as particleboard, density board, plywood, adhesives, and wallpaper are the main sources of formaldehyde in the air, with a release period of up to 3-15 years. Formaldehyde can be absorbed through

the respiratory tract, and its harm to the human body is characterized by long-term, latent, and concealed effects. Long term inhalation of formaldehyde can cause serious conditions such as nasopharyngeal cancer and laryngeal cancer.

For example, after formaldehyde is attached to paper, the reagent contained in the paper will react with formaldehyde to form a compound, and the color will change from white to yellow. The℃of color change can reflect the amount of reflected light received. The rate of change in the intensity of reflected light can be used as a gas concentration response. By setting the detection line in advance, the concentration of the gas can be determined by the response value of the gas being detected.

The four in one gas detector consists of two parts: detection and probing, with detection and probing functions. The principle of the detection part of the four in one gas detector is that the sensor of the instrument uses a detection element, a fixed resistor, and a zero potentiometer to form a detection bridge. The bridge uses platinum wire as a carrier for catalytic elements. After being powered on, the temperature of the platinum wire rises to the working temperature, and air reaches the surface of the element through natural diffusion or other means. When there is no combustible gas in the air, the bridge output is zero. When the air contains combustible gas and diffuses onto the detection element, flameless combustion occurs due to catalytic action, causing the temperature of the detection element to rise and the platinum wire resistance to increase, causing the bridge circuit to lose balance. As a result, a voltage signal is output, which is proportional to the concentration of combustible gas. The signal is amplified, analog-to-digital converted, and displayed on a liquid display to show the concentration of combustible gas.
